I know I've been gone for a goodly while. If anyone was still out there and wondering what happened to me, I figured I should let you guys know.
So early last year, my once a month migraines that lasted about a day started increasing and lasting longer. I stopped being able to focus or see for art in my down time. Then I got where I didn't dare make plans or leave the house on outings for fear one would strike. Eventually they reached a point where I no longer had migraine free days. They got so bad I couldn't drive, as I couldn't see or process things moving that fast. I also couldn't work, which created it's own horrible anxiety filled nightmare of being broke on top of being housebound. I could barely walk for falling down. Couldn't stand light or sound. Couldn't even watch shows with too much motion as it would make me dizzy and sick. It was pretty much hell. Best part is...there was nothing wrong with my brain, at least according to the very expensive MRI I had done. I legit felt like I was dying and..."Great news, your MRI is clear!" I cried. Long story short, this is likely hereditary and linked to peri-menopause and will eventually go away when menopause is done. Meanwhile I am on a daily med to control my migraines and slowly but surely getting my life back. I'm hoping to start art and writing again soon. Had even pondered offering those ocean animal/space paintings as commissions to help cover some "oh my gosh, what the hell is the point of insurance" bills, but not sure when I'll be able to tolerate light well enough to reliably do those.
I hope everyone is doing well. I know I have missed everyone's art and news! Will try and some point to get caught up.
Meanwhile...this is my life when I'm not at work (Which...yay, I'm back to working at least)
Yes, Momo is inside my robe. The robe was a Christmas present to me, but she has already claimed it and loves being tucked in one side.

Cosplay mini photoshoot-Touken Ranbu

My friend and I did a mini-photo shoot with my Touken Ranbu cosplays. Which means I was finally able to get pictures of my Taroutachi! I've been gutted since I finished him that I didn't have any decent pictures of him. My friend makes an adorable Kasen! check it out!
